Construct is an 8-minute sci-fi VR film produced by PresenZ in partnership with Starbreeze, following a robot fighting for survival in a photorealistic 6DoF environment. Made in the PresenZ volumetric format with V-Nova compression, it was among the first fully immersive distributable VR movies, originally deployed in StarVR location-based installations. The film won two Lumière Awards in 2018 and was later released on Steam. Demute contributed sound design, audio systems, and the full cinematic immersive mix.
