
mo.co is a mobile action MMORPG in which players hunt monsters across multiple worlds.
On this project, we collaborate with Supercell mainly on creature audio design, but also across different areas of sound design (interactables, mounts, foley, etc.), as well as implementation and integration. Our main focus was to define a distinct vocal and sound identity for each new creature type, in close collaboration with the game’s audio director. We spent a significant amount of time exploring sounds to define the right palette and reusable templates, allowing us to efficiently handle a large number of creatures later in production. On the implementation and integration side, the main challenge was learning the workflows of the proprietary engine and integrating into Supercell’s secured production environment.
