Please, Touch The Artwork 1 & 2 are cozy, art-driven puzzle games built around exploring and interacting with paintings, through gentle puzzles, hidden-object gameplay and narrative moments. The first one focuses on Piet Mondrian and the second on the work of James Ensor.
Our main challenge was to create soundscapes that could naturally extend classical paintings into interactive worlds. We carried out historical research on the painters and their eras to define a coherent musical and audio identity that respects each artwork’s context and tone. The project also involved specific accessibility considerations, including the implementation of optional muting for sensitive sounds such as vomiting and chewing.
