
Undead Inc is a management simulation game in which players operate a corporation in a city affected by supernatural outbreaks.
As we joined the project while production was already underway, our first challenge was to integrate into an existing audio direction, aligned with glass-like textures, sci-fi tonal elements and synth-based signatures. The city soundscape was built around a dynamic day–night cycle, evolving from dense and lively urban ambiences during the day to calmer and more intimate atmospheres at night. We also implemented adaptive ambience based on camera height and zoom, smoothly shifting the mix from detailed city activity to wind and distant layers to reinforce spatial perception. Finally, time acceleration is linked to an FMOD parameter controlling playback speed, creating the game’s recognizable “wound-up” feel.
